Shanghai International Business Incubator (IBI) , was established in 1997 with approval from Ministry of Science &Technology. It takes the organization model of ˇ°One Incubator, Several Basesˇ±, with join efforts by innovation centers with the conditions of internationalization. Now IBI has 6 incubation bases, including STIC, Caohejing, Zhangjiang, Yangpu, Withhub, and Shanghai University Science &Technology Park which represent the top 6 incubators in Shanghai and with the headquarter in STIC. It aims to assist the domestic SMEs to extend the overseas market as well as facilitate the soft-landing for international technology companies in China.
Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Innovation Center
established in 1993, is a professional service organization that stands in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park to cultivate high tech innovative enterprises, build up a service system for entrepreneurship innovation based on self-owned intellectual property, and promote the commercialization, industrialization and internationalization of scientific and technological achievements. The Innovation Center was approved as an International Enterprises Incubator by Torch Center of National Science and Technology Ministry in 1997, succeeded by the ratification of nation-level Hi-Tech Innovation Center in 1999.
Reformed in 2003 with emphasis on the positioning of governmental function, the Innovation Center, a key section of Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park's technology innovation system, systematically plans, designs and organizes Zhangjiang-characterized innovation service system in the Park, creating a welcoming environment for carving out. Meanwhile, we carry out in-depth, professional and marketizational innovation service work and build up creative cultural atmosphere based on innovation in research and mechanism, dedicating ourselves to accelerating Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park's national vision of the Technology Innovation Model Base.
